I came in for the first time with my 2 children. I was in a hurry because my newborn at the time was very fussy. The gentleman that helped me check out was the nicest man ever. So helpful and genuinely nice. I was so impressed and will def be back

LOL @ the guy who complained about getting charged for a chopstick like he got his social security number stolen or something. Food is great, always is. One of the best Chinese places in Macomb County! General Tso chicken is the bomb!

Worst Chinese food I've had. I am a conisuer of orange chicken, and there's was absolutely disgusting. No orange flavor, barely any sauce. Dried fried rice, and extremely bland egg roll. I'd highly suggest Wing Wong:)

Overall decent Chinese food. Tried the General Tao Chicken and the Hunan Beef. Both dishes were seasoned well but not that wow factor. Portions were absolutely huge and the prices are reasonable considering how much food you get. Will continue to eat here as long as I don't get a surprise.

The BEST Chinese food in Clinton Township I tried their Woo Dip Harr (shrimp and bacon) fried and topped off with sweet and sour sauce and I gotta tell you best thing I've ever tasted I would definitely come back here again!

Nothing special. Food is OK. Weird experience one night. Kinda in a hurry, this was close. Called and to placed my order. Guy on the phone says 45 to an hour, we are swamped. I said " I will have to cancel then" because we were strapped for time. Soon as the word cancel came out of my mouth, all I got was a dial tone. He hung up. AND FOR THAT REASON, I'M OUT.

About 4 years ago my boyfriend (at the time) introduced me to Ping On. Going to Chinese restaurants every Thursday was our "thing." We mostly tried places in Troy and Rochester but then he remembered Ping On and he claimed it to be "the best Chinese he ever had." After going there together a handful of times, I knew it to be true. The hostess always greeted us with a smile and sat us at the same exact table every time. The waiters even memorized our order! Such great hospitality! Needless to say that boyfriend and I broke up and I never bothered coming back. Too many memories. However, my love for Chinese food never faded. Sweet and Sour Chicken was my go to meal, before switching it up to Sesame Chicken lately. After growing sick of the Chinese restaurants near my house, my sister and I happily ventured out to Ping On for a carry out meal. Well worth the 30 minute drive! We were happily welcomed by a hostess who handed us a lovely carry out menu. So many options and so easy to read. The entrees may be a tad bit pricier if you're looking for a cheap meal. However, the quality of the food makes up for it. My sister got the Sweet and Sour Chicken, while I opted for Sesame Chicken. Each were delicious and still piping hot when we got home 30 minutes later! The portions were huge and we both easily had enough for another meal or two. Well worth the extra drive and can't wait to be back! Service is always outstanding and you're always greeted with a smile. Highly recommend!

Took my parent's there for their birthday. Nothing great. It was way too hot like it had been microwaved. Couldn't even touch it for 10 minutes. I'm under the impression they don't cook from scratch and give you pre-made meals or leftovers. A few week later I ordered carryout egg foo yong and egg rolls for Father's day and found a piece of plastic packaging in it. It looked like a torn off piece from a soy sauce type of package. Not going back.

I had just moved to the area and was nervous about selecting a new Chinese food restaurant. Ping On was absolutely delicious! I am so glad it's the one I chose. The service was great as well and all i did was walk in to order for take out. The gentleman at the counter was welcoming and funny. I recommend it to all of my friends.

Good dinner, not the greatest ever but good. Won Ton soup pretty good. Egg rolls okay. Nothing objectionable with this place. I'd return

Very good American Chinese! I recently moved to the area and needed a good chinese place, quickly. Ping On was my first try and I haven't strayed yet. The dinner rolls are excellent, and the egg drop soup and almond chicken gravy are the best I've had. The egg rolls aren't anything like I am used to (coming from Wyoming) but they're decent. I wish they offered in-house delivery (they gave me a different number for some kind of delivery service that places the order for you, I decided to just pick it up myself) but otherwise I am very satisfied. Will return frequently.

My mom loves Chinese food so I took her here for lunch. We both ordered Chicken Egg Foo Yung. The plate came to our table full of 2 generous patties smothered in gravy. We asked for gravy over the fried rice as well. Comparing the gravy to other places, it was by far the most flavorful we've tasted. The egg drop soup was delicious. As far as the egg roll- it was okay. It seemed a little difficult to cut through the shell and a bit smaller than what I expected but it was good. While eating, I possibly had a small piece of plastic or something in my food. I'm not sure what it was. Similar to the piece you tear off the top of a packet of soy sauce or something. My mom wanted a dinner roll with her lunch so for 60 cents more, she was able to enjoy that. The waiter was very attentive and polite which really helped make our visit a better one. The inside decor is nice and it looked very clean. I will definitely return and try some of their other dishes.

Nothing amazing, but worth the price I suppose. Almond boneless chicken was good but the gravy sauce it comes with was pretty awful. Big let down considering this is a primary reason for ordering the almond chicken. Egg rolls were average at best. Crab Rangoons were okay.

First time here and I must say that was the best egg roll I've ever had! I ate in and everything was hot and fresh. The male waiter we had was very polite and attentive. I'll never eat chinese anywhere else.

Pretty darn good. We all really enjoyed what we ordered. The seasame chicken wasnt really sweet like most places I've eaten. Almond boneless chicken gravy was darker and more flavorful than other places. The general tso had the perfect amount of heat. This will be one of our go to spots.

I eat here about once a month for carry out. Very friendly service and they have never messed up an order. Good portion size for price. I can always get two meals out of one. Food quality is decent. Sometimes the meat is a little fatty (have to spit out the grizzle) but hey, it happens. Sometimes it can be too salty as well. Despite this, it always hits the spot when I'm craving Chinese. Love the egg drop soup, pork fried rice, sesame chicken, and steamed dumplings. Spring rolls are good too. Has been my go to Chinese restaurant for 6 years.

General Tao's chicken was good, chicken chop suey was great, almond chicken was a little bland but over all good.

I am not a huge fan of Chinese food so I am a bit hesitant when my wife has a craving. This past weekend we went to visit a friend who just had surgery and offered to bring her dinner. She suggested Ping On and I sucked it up and took one for the team. All in all though I was surprised that I actually liked what I got. Normal I always go with Almond Boneless Chicken, but this time I opted for Kung Pao Chicken because George likes his Chicken spicy. It was rather tasty, but not very hot at all though in terms of spice even though I ordered it Hot. My biggest complaints are that I didn't get much Chicken, maybe five or six small pieces, and that there were just too many vegetables. I had requested no celery either as I am not a fan and they left it in. Also the combinations they offer do not come with soup. Like I said I don't eat Chinese all that often, but every time I have it always came with either Wanton or Egg Drop soup. What surprised me the most is that they have not one, but two Chinese men there that speak perfect fluent English without an accent. I hope this doesn't make me come off as insensitive or anything, but it is nice to have someone who you understand and that understands you perfectly when it comes to places like this. The less communication issues you have means less of a chance something gets screwed up. I rated this place pretty average because of the fact there was very little meat in the dish, it wasn't made Hot as requested and when asked for the celery to be left out it was still left in the dish. Other than that I would definitely try this place another time and see if those minor things improved.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
